Welcome

A small lodge, simply welcoming.

Built by Jean and Matt Vrabel as their own quiet concession to the log cabin idea, Rustic Dreams sits on two and a half acres along the Lehigh River corridor in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania — with a canal path for walking and biking, and boating just down the bend.

Two suites. A wraparound porch. A common room with a fireplace. And the kind of welcome that turns a weekend into a return trip.

The Lehigh River winding through wooded hillsides in autumn The Lehigh
The Lehigh Valley

Steps from the river path.

The Lehigh Canal towpath runs right behind the property — miles of flat, wooded walking and biking, with kayak and canoe put-ins along the way. Historic downtown Bethlehem is minutes away; Moravian University and Lehigh University, a short drive.

It's the kind of corridor where you set out for a walk before breakfast and come back wondering where the morning went.

Thank you for a wonderful stay and the delicious food. You have helped make our first visit to Bethlehem very memorable.
